The challenge
When Dr. Ernest Luong’s Resilience Chiropractic first showed up on our radar, it was nearly invisible on Google. A 2022 local-search scan across San Leandro put the practice at an average Google Maps rank of 16.4 — bottom of the second page or unranked entirely across most of the East Bay. Outside of a single point right at the office, patients searching “chiropractor” simply weren’t finding them.
What we did
CHIROBASIX took over Resilience’s marketing end to end: local SEO to earn a permanent spot in Google’s Map Pack, ads that put a brand-new practice in front of its community, and the ENGAGE communication platform so every new lead is texted and emailed — with automatic appointment reminders — the moment they reach out. As Dr. Luong tells it, the strategies started working fast.
The results
The turnaround was complete. By December 2024, the same 49-point scan averaged a Google Maps rank of 3.0, putting Resilience in Google’s top 3 at 40 of the 49 points measured — from the bay to the Castro Valley hills. A practice that had been unranked across the map was now visible almost everywhere a nearby patient might search.
The momentum carried into organic search, too. Per SEMrush, Resilience’s count of keywords ranking on Google climbed from about 50 to roughly 570 — more than 11× — as the local authority compounded.
Dr. Luong felt the difference almost immediately. “The phones were ringing almost immediately,” he says — and the practice was soon booking 40 to 80 new patients a month.
